AS a prelude to Onam celebrations, Kerala Samajam, Mysore, is organising its traditional Annual Onam fair from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 at two centres —the Samajam Community Centre in Vijayanagar 2nd stage (near St. Joseph's Central School) and at the NGO Hall on Dhanvantri Road (opposite J.K. Grounds).
The fair will be open on all three days from 9 am to 9 pm.
An exquisite variety of traditional and authentic onam specialities like Nenthra Khai, banana chips (round, cut & sweet), pappadam, pal adda, coconut oil, halwa, boiled rice, puttu podi, appam podi, variety of pickles, achappam, unni appam, ellunda, tapioca chips, set mund, set chudidhar, Kerala towel (thorth), earthen pot (meen chati) etc., will be on sale.
As all these items are being brought from Kerala, it will be available till stocks last.
